The upper fall is a breathtaking natural spectacle at a height of 145 m. The lowermost, two-tiered waterfall, is fed by masses of water from 17 glacial streams, these in their turn falling another 140 m to the valley basin of Krimml.

Open to the public: from mid April until the end of October

admission: adults € 1.50, children (ages 6-15) € 0.50.

During the winter months, visitors take the trail at their own risk. It is 37.9 km from Zell am Ziller to Krimml. The car drive takes around 38 minutes.
